3rd Day - Sunday in three different church settings!

What an interesting day this is shaping up to be. Lord willing, we will be in worship at the mother church at Santa Tecla in the morning singing a song, preaching, and leading in children´s church. We will be at a brand new mission point of our church at Ciudad Obrera--we will be doing a children´s outreach event with a pinata, outdoor movie, ballon animals, and a time of gifts for the children. This is the first outreach event in this community for a new possible church plant!! Then in the evening we will be at our partner church at Antiguo Cuscatlan for music, testimony, and preaching! It will be a full day in the Lord!! We will be in three different ministry settings on Sunday!! Thank you for your prayers!

I cannot begin to describe yesterday in the few minutes that I have this morning. WOW...AWESOME come to mind...We were in the mother church, our church, and also at the potential new church plant. In the afternoon, we did an outreach event for children at Cuidad Obrera. About 4 families from Antiguo Cuscatlan (our church) have been relocated there and this is the place they are praying to start a new church. We had pinatas, ballon animals, an outdoor movie, preaching, gifts, and alot of love. Over 125 kids showed up!! 25 moms came for Bible study!! Many, many were looking on...we know of at least one salvation and the church will have to follow up on several more. We were also introduced to the potential pastor of this new mission!! It was an amazing and overwhelming day to see the response and to see a church in the embryonic stage. It was so much fun to see everyone involved: Micky juggling...Will and Harrison helping Travis (and many others) make balloon animals...several counseling with children...Jason in charge of the pinata...did I mention it was amazing?

This is just one part of the day. The services at the mother church at Santa Tecla in the morning went great and most of the group helped with children´s church. The El Salvadorians were very pleased!! Then we had Pizza Hut! :)

In the evening, we were in our church at Antiguo Cuscatlan. It was such a sweet spirit in that place!! They utilized the video projector that we brought for the very first time.

It was a spiritually draining day...but it was a very good day.
